Job summary

DataPath, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an experienced Service Desk Specialist to serve as the single point of contact for IT service requests and incidents.

You will monitor tickets, manage RMAs, and coordinate spare parts from the warehouse to ensure timely resolutions. You will support SATCOM, RF, networking, encryption, and VTC systems for DoD and civilian customers, handling tasks from configuration management to software license renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or IT preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with deployable communications systems.
• CCNA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for all communications/IT service requests, incidents, and disruptions.
• Monitor, track, and resolve trouble tickets through the logistics and asset management system.
• Manage RMAs and coordinate spare parts from the co-located warehouse.
• Maintain lifecycle management of all service requests and inform users on progress.
• Process configuration management requests, change requests, maintenance contracts, warranties, and software license renewals.
• Create and submit SARs/SAAs/GARs/GAAs via SIPRNet; process ACAS requests via NIPRNet.
• Conduct real-time monitoring of deployed terminal link connectivity.
