Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to manage WSOC facility support across multiple sites. The role covers hardware installation, maintenance, software upgrades, and configuration management for SATCOM and DATACOM systems, with focus on MET, RRFIS, RPTF and RSCCE.

The ideal candidate holds an active DoD Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant SATCOM experience (advanced degree preferred), and hands-on

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree reduces experience.
• 1 year of SATCOM principles; 3 years of SATCOM operations; knowledge of intelligence processes for SATCOM tasks.
• CompTIA Security+ (or higher) certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and report WSOC hardware installation and maintenance, software upgrades and configuration management.
• Provide technical support for MET, RRFIS, RPTF, RSCCE and related SATCOM/DATACOM systems.
• Draft policies for work orders tracking and interface with civilian and contract support.
• Serve as liaison for policy, services, maintenance fixes and facility alterations records.
• Maintain drawings and plans for office space changes and RWAs.
