Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior SATCOM Cyber System Security Engineer to enhance and implement security for satellite communications systems supporting DoD networks. You will identify tools, devices, and applications, develop STIG mappings, and lead risk assessments to mitigate threats.

You’ll work on risk management, vulnerability remediation, documentation, and briefings for leadership, contributing to secure, compliant DoD communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering is required.
• Eight or more years implementing STIGs, IAVM, and security assessment activities.
• Experience with RMF, DoD accreditation, and vulnerability remediation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and map STIG requirements across current and new systems.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Prepare security artifacts and POA&Ms for RMF accreditions.
• Brief security posture to client leadership and summarize vulnerabilities.
