Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Space Sensing for the DoD. You will develop and rapidly deploy capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to warfighters, testing and validating complex systems throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have RMF/NIST 800-53 Rev 5 experience, eMASS, POA&Ms, and the ability to draft ISAs/MOUs/SLAs. A Secret clearance and DoD 8140 Level II cert are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer supporting space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
• Experience with RMF process activities and NIST 800-53 Rev 5 documentation.
• Experience with eMASS.
• Experience developing and managing POA&Ms to track vulnerabilities.
• Experience drafting ISAs, MOUs, SLAs and related RMF documentation.
• Knowledge of networking and cyber architecture including DMZs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs.
• Ability to manage cyber documentation through the RMF lifecycle.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• DoD 8140 Level II Certification such as Security+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and rapidly deploy next-generation Space Sensing capabilities for the DoD.
• Test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify systems to ensure mission success.
• Identify urgent mitigation areas to shape system development with advanced tech.
• Collaborate with Booz Allen and military teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Grow skills through cross-disciplinary coordination and innovative engineering.
