Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior SATCOM Cyber System Security Engineer to safeguard DoD satellite communications systems. You will identify tools, security controls, and devices, perform risk assessments, and map RMF artifacts while implementing STIGs and vulnerability management across DoD networks.

You will brief leadership on security posture, develop documentation, and support vulnerability remediation efforts within a national security context.

Qualifications

• 8+ years implementing STIGs and self‑assessments
• 8+ years IAVM actions and remediation
• 8+ years deploying and validating ESS, ACAS, and CMRS, and analyzing scans

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with teams and communicate security complexities to diverse audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas and leverage analytics to identify threats.
• Develop test strategies and implement STIG requirements for current or new systems.
• Conduct periodic STIG self‑assessments and create STIG checklists.
• Perform IAVM activities and develop systematic responses to maintain compliance.
