Job summary

Syneos Health in New York seeks a Senior Programmer-Senior Data Scientist to work with Real-World Data analyses using SAS and R. You’ll contribute to a pharma data landscape, building analysis datasets and applying epidemiologic methods.

The role involves cohort studies, statistical design, and interpretation, with strong programming and communication skills essential. Collaboration across teams and high-quality deliverables are expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience.
• Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assess quality of the data.
• Protocol and SAP review and input.
• Conduct analyses (programming of TFLs).
