Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to act as a senior technical leader in statistical programming for clinical trials and DMC deliverables. You will design, develop, and standardize high-quality outputs while providing expert guidance across projects.

Collaborating with biostatistics, data management, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure compliant, efficient programming and contribute to proposals and project planning.

Qualifications

Master’s degree required in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming in a clinical trial environment.
Proficiency in SAS and R programming; experience with CDISC standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex statistical programming deliverables (datasets, tables, listings, figures).
Lead development and validation of DMC macros and programming standards.
Provide technical oversight to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and consistency across deliverables.
Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements across studies.
Mentor and provide leadership to statistical programming staff.
