WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to serve as a senior technical leader in statistical programming for clinical trials.

You will design, develop, and oversee complex outputs, lead DMC macro development, and drive standards across projects with cross-functional teams. The role requires 8–10 years in clinical trial programming, expert SAS and R skills, CDISC experience, and mentoring capabilities, with remote work within the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep expertise in SAS programming, including complex analyses and regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming is a must.
• Demonstrated experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving technical standards or best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate biostatistical projects with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across multiple studies.
• Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex statistical programming deliverables.
• Lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of DMC macros and programming standards.
• Provide technical oversight and review to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
• Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on complex trial designs and analyses.
