Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Cleveland, OH seeks an experienced SAP Security & GRC Functional Lead for our headquarters. This full-time, hybrid leadership role oversees security and governance for SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, EWM) and directs our offshore SAP Security support team.

You will partner with security, functional, technical, and cybersecurity teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into projects, drive improvements, and support audits and SoD controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, CS, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience with lead or senior roles.
• Experience leading or coordinating offshore/distributed teams.
• Deep experience with SAP roles, authorizations, profiles, and user administration.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Strong hands-on SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, EAM).

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore SAP Security support team and provide day-to-day direction.
• Own SAP Security strategy across S/4HANA, ECC, and EWM.
• Escalation point for complex security/authorization issues.
• Manage SAP roles, authorizations, and user access provisioning.
• Lead root-cause analysis and production issue resolution.
• Oversee role design, testing, and remediation.
• Lead GRC Access Control activities (ARA/ARM/EAM).
• Collaborate with security, functional, technical, and cybersecurity teams.
• Drive process improvements and governance for SAP Security & GRC.
• Support audit/compliance related to SAP access and SoD.
