Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for the Electric T&D Propel SAP transition. You will lead cross-functional technical integration, data readiness, and program controls to deliver SAP-enabled capabilities across Electric T&D while coordinating with IT, asset management, and implementation partners.

This senior role requires managing dependencies, data quality, testing, deployment, and readiness metrics, with a hybrid work model (2-3 days remote) and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of job-related experience.
• Masters degree or PMI-PMP certification is desirable.
• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, asset management, and utility processes.
• Knowledge of Electric T&D operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives for Propel objectives.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across business, IT, SAP delivery teams, vendors, and system integrators.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
• Lead asset and master data activities across Electric T&D.
• Coordinate data cleansing, mapping, governance, migration, and validation efforts.
• Partner with business process leads to support future-state processes.
• Establish data quality measures and readiness indicators.
• Support testing, deployment, and cutover planning.
• Maintain program schedules, dependency tracking, and milestone reporting.
• Manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and decision logs.
• Monitor program execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support integrated planning across Propel workstreams.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between Electric Operations and IT delivery teams.
• Facilitate governance meetings and translate business requirements into technical plans.
• Define KPIs and develop executive reporting packages.
