Job summary

PG&E is seeking an Expert Program Manager for the Propel program to lead planning, coordination, and execution of strategic business initiatives across Electric T&D, IT, Asset Management, and external partners. The role ensures readiness and business value realization through KPI tracking and executive reporting.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and alignment with enterprise-standard processes enabled through SAP Propel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8 years of job-related experience.
• Masters degree or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Work and Asset Management, Enterprise Asset Management.
• Knowledge of Electric Transmission and Distribution operations, maintenance, construction, planning, and asset management.
• Experience leading ERP implementations or enterprise transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting Electric T&D business objectives.
• Develop and manage integrated program plans with scope, schedule, dependencies, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between program deliverables and Electric T&D priorities.
• Partner with business leaders to define future-state operating models and processes.
• Support process leads in documenting as-is and to-be processes.
• Lead change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption activities.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level communications and program performance reporting.
• Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews.
