Job summary

Hensel Phelps seeks an IT SAP Senior Support Analyst to ensure stability and optimization of SAP ECC/S4HANA environments across the organization. You will work with stakeholders to define requirements, deploy enhancements, and support testing and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Formal education: college diploma or university degree in computer science or information systems with 7+ years experience
• In-depth SAP or S/4HANA experience with desktop apps (Microsoft Office, CRM, HR, financial systems)
• Experience building/maintaining software
• Troubleshooting principles and issue resolution techniques
• Broad knowledge of programming languages incl. SQL/NoSQL
• Ability to develop technical documentation for training and end-user procedures
• Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications
• Experience building/maintaining databases for query and problem tracking
• Strong alignment with organizational goals
• Security awareness
• Self-motivated, quick learner with strong analytical and prioritization abilities
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Team-oriented, collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements and systems goals with executives and stakeholders
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
• Review and analyze system effectiveness and strategize improvements
• Deploy new applications and enhancements to software and OS
• Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems
• Support testing of new and existing software
• Design and perform server and security audits and disaster recovery procedures
• Coordinate end-to-end tests and end-user reviews
• Document problem-solving processes and resolutions
• Communicate application problems to stakeholders and teams
• Identify and learn applicable software applications used by the organization
• Coordinate with department heads on training needs and objectives
• Deliver software training programs and classes
• Apply diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting
