Job summary

Blue Star Partners LLC seeks a Senior SAP IT Engineer to provide techno‑functional leadership for SAP solutions within a large-scale Customer Transformation program. You will bridge business requirements with technical delivery, overseeing design reviews, fit‑gap analysis, configuration, and integration across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and C4C.

The role emphasizes reducing customization, guiding testing, and ensuring scalable, secure SAP solutions that align with enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of SAP solution delivery experience.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP/Integration Suite.
Ability to evaluate standard SAP capabilities versus customization and extensions.
Experience coordinating with vendors, SI partners, and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with SAP testing across SIT, UAT, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

Provide techno‑functional oversight for SAP design, configuration, development, integration and testing.
Review designs for alignment with SAP best practices and business requirements.
Conduct fit‑gap analyses to determine standard vs. customized solutions.
Identify opportunities to minimize unnecessary customization and promote scalable SAP solutions.
Review ABAP development and RICEFW objects where applicable.
Coordinate across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, C4C, FICA, and security/integration teams.
Support deployment, cutover, hypercare and operational transition.
