Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Beachwood, Ohio, seeks a SAP SD (QTC) IT Specialist to define and communicate a shared architectural vision that supports current and future business needs. The SAP System Architect will be an expert in SAP SD & LE with exposure to manufacturing in a highly integrated IT landscape.

You will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate options, and converge on a final solution, delivering architectures aligned with guardrails

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years in software with a track record of shipping high-quality products.
• 5+ years in SAP QTC functional knowledge across SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration, and basic EDI; S/4HANA knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Beachwood OH or listed areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in planning, definition, development, and high-level design of product solutions and architectural alternatives
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines
• Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches
• Configure standard business process QTC SAP modules (SD/MM/LE/CS) in ECC and S/4HANA
• Design business process integration between SAP SD & SAP LE in ECC & S/4HANA
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements
• Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly
• Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events
• Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes
• Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation
• Negotiate with the business to prioritize nonfunctional work and reduce technical debt
