Job summary

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is seeking a SAP SD (QTC) IT Specialist to define and communicate a shared architectural vision for SAP Quote-to-Cash solutions. The ideal candidate will be expert in SAP SD & LE modules with exposure to S/4HANA, collaborating with Agile teams to validate solutions and converge on a design aligned to enterprise guardrails.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience in software with a track record of shipping high-quality products.
• 5+ years SAP QTC functional knowledge across SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration, and basic EDI knowledge; S/4HANA knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; candidates within 50 miles of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in planning, definition, development, and high-level design of product solutions.
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines.
• Define and communicate interfaces, data structures, storage, integrations, cybersecurity, test automation, and deployment approaches.
• Configure SAP SD/MM/LE/CS in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Design business process integration between SAP SD and SAP LE in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements.
• Consider economic boundaries in design decisions and operate accordingly.
• Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect/adapt events.
• Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation.
• Negotiate with business to prioritize nonfunctional work and reduce technical debt.
