Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Houston, TX seeks a SAP System Architect – Quote to Cash with deep SAP SD and LE expertise to shape the architectural vision and align with business needs. The role spans ECC and S/4HANA, QTC modules, and cross-functional collaboration with Agile teams.

Expect responsibilities include defining interfaces, data structures, nonfunctional requirements, and secure deployment approaches while prioritizing platform upgrades and technical debt reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of software industry experience with shipping high-quality products.
• 5+ years SAP QTC functional knowledge across SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration, and basic EDI knowledge. S/4HANA knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC, or similar area considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in planning, definition, development, and high-level design of product solutions and architectural alternatives.
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines.
• Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches.
• Configure SAP QTC (SD/MM/LE/CS) across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Design business process integration between SAP SD & SAP LE in ECC & S/4HANA.
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements.
• Plan architectural runway to support business outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight to encourage security, quality, and automation.
• Negotiate with the business to prioritize nonfunctional work and reduce technical debt.
