Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is seeking a SAP SD (QTC) IT Specialist acting as a System Architect to define and communicate a shared architectural vision supporting current and future business needs.

The SAP System Architect - Quote To Cash will be a subject matter expert in SAP SD & LE with exposure to manufacturing processes within a highly integrated IT landscape, collaborating with Agile teams to evaluate options and converge on solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years in software industry with a track record of shipping high-quality products.
• 5+ years in SAP QTC functional knowledge across SD/MM, pricing, ATP, CS, logistics, integration, and basic EDI knowledge; S/4HANA knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within ~50 miles of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in planning, definition, development, and high-level design of product solutions and architectural options.
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines.
• Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches.
• Configure SAP SD/LE/CS modules in ECC and S/4HANA.
• Design business process integration between SAP SD & SAP LE in ECC & S/4HANA.
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements.
• Consider business boundaries in design decisions and operate accordingly.
• Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, demos, and inspect/adapt events.
• Plan and develop architectural runway for a product supporting business outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight emphasizing security, quality, and automation.
• Negotiate with the business to prioritize nonfunctional work to reduce tech debt.
