Job summary

Eaton is seeking a SAP Project Systems Architect in Raleigh, NC to lead solution architecture for project accounting, controlling, and time capture within SAP landscapes. You will recommend secure, scalable designs and collaborate with Finance, IT, and cyber security to align solutions with enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes functional leadership, integration with SAP modules, and evaluating SaaS options to onboard and connect new applications while maintaining Eaton’s architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience supporting, designing, implementing, or architecting SAP Project Systems solutions.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI , Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP Project Systems solution architect for projects, enhancements, and production support activities related to project accounting, project controlling, time capture, and related Finance processes.
• Advise business stakeholders on SAP Project Systems best practices, including work breakdown structure design, project profiles, network activities, cost planning, budgeting, availability control, settlement, capitalization, and project closeout.
• Provide functional expertise for SAP Project Controlling processes, including project cost collection, cost allocation, budget monitoring, settlement rules, results analysis, and integration with Controlling, Asset Accounting, General Ledger, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Plant Maintenance where applicable.
• Provide functional expertise for Cross-Application Time Sheet, including time entry, approval, transfer, labor cost allocation, integration with Project Systems, Controlling, Human Capital Management, and external time reporting processes.
• Design solutions that meet customer and stakeholder needs.
• Manage nonfunctional requirements and compliance.
