C5MI Insights LLC. is seeking an experienced Release Manager to own the release, change, and transport management for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA financial modernization program for a DoW organization. You will set the release calendar, govern change control, and lead cutover and go-live for deployment waves.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP release, change, or deployment management, with DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one. Travel up to 50% to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; 8–10 years with degree, or 10–13 years without degree.
• 8+ years of SAP experience, including release, change, transport, deployment management.
• Hands-on with SAP transport management, multi-system landscape design, and transport dependency management.
• Experience with SAP ChaRM, SAP Cloud ALM, or equivalent change management platforms.
• Experience leading cutover and go-live for enterprise deployments, including dress rehearsals and hypercare.

Responsibilities

• Owns the program release strategy and release calendar across development, QA, staging, training, and production.
• Designs and governs transport landscape, sequencing, dependency management, and conflict analysis.
• Manages change requests and transport management tooling, including approval gates and scheduling.
• Establishes change control governance with CAB, emergency changes, and documented approvals.
• Leads cutover planning, go-live execution, and rollback planning for deployment waves.
• Coordinates with risk management and security to meet configuration controls and maintain authorization.
