Job summary

EY is seeking a senior SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Consultant to translate utility business questions into precise reports and analytics. You will own requirements, validate data, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted information for decision-making.

The role involves delivering across SAP IS-U, BW/4HANA, HANA, Datasphere, and Analytics Cloud, with a focus on reporting, data quality, and production support. Travel is expected up to 40-60% in consulting engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support.
• Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, functional specifications, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review for SAP IS-U or connected utility systems.
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among SAP IS-U functions, analytics platforms, source systems, and downstream applications.
• Experience documenting functional specs and working with business users, data teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations and regulatory needs.
• Translate business measures into report specifications, filters, and output formats.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to ensure alignment with approved definitions.
• Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP teams to design reports.
• Support delivery of extracts, dashboards, and management information across SAP IS-U and connected systems.
• Create test cases and validate totals, samples, and data quality.
