Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into accurate reports and analytics. You will own requirements, report definitions, data validation, and testing, partnering with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information for operations and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, functional specifications, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review for SAP IS-U or connected utility systems.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations, customer service, billing, FI-CA, Retail Choice, device and work management, regulatory needs, and management oversight.
• Translate business measures into report specifications, definitions, filters, drill-downs, output formats, reconciliation rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze SAP IS-U source data and dependencies to ensure report logic aligns with definitions and end-to-end processes.
• Partner with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP, and other teams to design and implement reports.
• Deliver operational extracts, queries, dashboards, exception reports, and management information across SAP IS-U and connected systems.
• Create test cases and expected results; validate totals, samples, access controls, and reconciliation against SAP source transactions.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies, data-quality issues, and cross-system dependencies with owners.
• Maintain report documentation, lineage notes, user guidance, and support materials; assist with UAT and deployment readiness.
• Manage deliverables, dependencies, risks, and priorities; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to client teams and junior members.
