Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into precise reports, own requirements, validate data, and collaborate with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information.

You will work with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and ABAP teams to design and deliver reports and analytics, with travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant functional area.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience supporting reporting requirements, report definitions, functional specifications, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review.
• Understanding meter‑to‑cash processes and dependencies among SAP IS‑U functions, analytics platforms, source systems, and downstream applications.
• Experience preparing functional documentation and working with business users, data teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business questions into precise measures, report specifications, testable logic, and user‑focused outputs.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility ops and billing.
• Translate measures into report specs, filters, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to reflect approved definitions.
• Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, HANA, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, ABAP teams.
• Deliver operational extracts, queries, dashboards, and management information.
• Create test cases and validate totals and reconciliation.
• Investigate discrepancies and data‑quality issues.
• Maintain report docs and assist with UAT and deployment readiness.
• Manage deliverables, risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer to client teams and junior members.
