Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into precise reports and analytics. You will own requirements, define reports, validate data, and collaborate with data and technical teams to deliver trusted information.

You will work with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP and other teams to implement reports and analytics following the approved architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on in delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support.
• Experience with reporting requirements, definitions, testing, reconciliation, and stakeholder review.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and analytics platforms.
• Ability to translate business questions into precise measures and user-focused outputs.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations and related functions.
• Translate business measures into report specifications, filters, and output formats.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to ensure correct report logic.
• Partner with SAP BW/4HANA, HANA, Datasphere and other teams to design reports.
• Support delivery of operational extracts, dashboards, and management information.
• Create test cases, validate totals, and ensure data integrity.
• Investigate discrepancies and data-quality issues across systems.
• Maintain report documentation and user guidance; support UAT and deployments.
• Manage deliverables, risks, and priorities; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams.
