Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant to translate utility business questions into precise reports and analytics. You will own requirements, report definitions, data validation, and testing, partnering with data and technical teams to deliver trusted operational information.

You will work with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, ABAP, and other delivery teams to design and implement reports per the approved architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 4–6 years in SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities with 3+ years in a functional area.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, design, testing, and production support.
• Knowledge of meter-to-cash processes and SAP IS-U functions.
• Ability to translate business questions into precise measures and outputs.
• Experience with analytics environments and data-quality investigations.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document reporting requirements for utility operations and regulatory needs.
• Translate business measures into report specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze SAP IS-U data and dependencies to ensure correct logic across processes.
• Collaborate with SAP BW/4HANA, HANA, Datasphere, ACS, ABAP teams on reports.
• Deliver operational extracts, dashboards, and management information.
• Create test cases and validate totals and access controls.
• Investigate data-quality issues and cross-system dependencies.
• Maintain documentation, lineage notes, and user guidance.
• Manage deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams.
