Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP IS-U FI‑CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands‑on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing in FI‑CA. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and FI/CO to ensure accurate processing across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams to resolve end‑to‑end issues and provide production support. Travel up to 40‑60% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open-item management, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding FI-CA integration with IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and supporting FI-CA contract accounts and related items.
• Designing and testing payment processing, bank interfaces, and cash desk flows.
• Configuring dunning, collections, installment plans, and write-offs.
• Supporting FI-CA events, BRF+ rules, and process control.
• Analyzing FI-CA integration with General Ledger and period-end processing.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration documentation, test cases, and process flows.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Collaborating with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Providing production support and knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Travel up to 40-60% as needed.
