EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to support design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and work with stakeholders across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

This role involves delivering end-to-end billing configurations, testing, and production support, with travel up to 40-60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with at least 3 years in SAP IS-U Billing
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment
• Experience configuring SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, billing master data, invoicing, and billing-cycle processes
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among Billing, Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and connected systems
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, process flows, and other project documentation
• Experience executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, and production stabilization
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
• Willingness to travel 40–60%

Responsabilités

• Gather and analyze billing and invoicing requirements across electric, gas, and water utilities
• Configure SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, master data, invoicing, and billing cycles
• Support periodic/non-periodic billing, rebilling, reversals, adjustments, and bill simulation
• Validate invoicing, billing documents, payment handoffs, and downstream postings with FI-CA
• Analyze billing exceptions to identify root causes
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, and process flows
• Execute unit/integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution
• Coordinate cross-workstream impacts with Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and related teams
• Travel up to 40–60%
