Zusammenfassung

EY is looking for an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate billing requirements into functional designs that support accurate customer bills across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will collaborate with client teams, manage deliverables, and travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with at least 3 years hands-on in IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Knowledge of bill-print, e-billing, payment, or other customer communication integrations.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs (40–60%).

Aufgaben

• Gather and analyze billing and invoicing requirements across electric, gas, and water utilities.
• Configure IS-U Billing and Invoicing schemas, rates, master data, and billing cycles.
• Support periodic and non-periodic billing, rebilling, reversals, and budget billing.
• Validate invoicing, billing documents, and downstream postings with FI-CA and related systems.
• Analyze billing exceptions and root causes across meter reads and device data.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, and flows.
• Execute unit/integration tests and support UAT, defect resolution, and cutover.
• Coordinate end-to-end process impacts across multiple workstreams and teams.
• Support time-of-use, interval-based, and other complex billing scenarios.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams and juniors.
