Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and work across stakeholders to deliver accurate customer bills.

The role requires 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or utilities experience (3 years hands-on IS-U Billing), travel up to 60%, and strong collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or Utilities experience, incl. 3 years hands-on IS-U Billing.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration, testing and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience configuring IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, billing master data and invoicing.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather billing requirements across electric, gas, and water utilities.
• Configure and validate SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions, including FI-CA interfaces.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
• Coordinate end-to-end impacts across Device Management, EDM, FI-CA and Customer Service teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to client teams and junior staff.
