Sopra Steria Aeroline seeks a Senior SAP Functional Expert - Logistics to design and deliver scalable SAP solutions across supply chain processes. The role focuses on MM/SD and leverages EWM, with a strong emphasis on process excellence and system integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP logistics, MM/SD
• S/4HANA expertise required; EWM a strong asset
• End-to-end logistics process knowledge (P2P, O2C, inventory) and integration with FI/PP/QM

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP logistics solutions (MM/SD; EWM)
• Analyze complex logistics requirements with stakeholders to design SAP solutions
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, inventory, and logistics execution
• Lead functional workstreams in global SAP projects (rollouts, upgrades, harmonization)
• Produce functional specs (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP/integration teams
• Ensure integration with adjacent SAP modules and external logistics systems
• Perform root cause analysis and lead incident resolution
• Provide mentoring to junior consultants and support teams
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and business development

We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Expert - Logistics with deep expertise in SAP MM, SD, and related logistics modules (e.g., EWM, LE). You will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, end-to-end SAP solutions across supply chain and distribution processes.

This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise, with a strong focus on process excellence, system integration, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP logistics solutions (primarily MM and SD, with EWM as a strong asset)
• Partner with business stakeholders to analyze complex logistics requirements and translate them into efficient SAP solutions
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, inventory management, and logistics execution
• Lead functional workstreams in global SAP projects, including rollouts, upgrades, and template harmonization
• Produce high-quality functional specifications (RICEFW) and collaborate closely with ABAP and integration teams
• Ensure seamless integration with adjacent SAP modules (FI, PP, QM) and external logistics systems
• Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and lead resolution efforts
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior consultants and support teams
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and support business development initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP logistics modules, with strong expertise in MM and SD
• Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA (mandatory); EWM experience is a strong asset
• Deep understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, inventory management, and logistics execution
• Strong SAP configuration and functional design capabilities, with exposure to solution architecture
• Experience defining and validating functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and custom developments (RICEFW)
• Familiarity with integration across SAP modules (FI, PP, QM) and third-party logistics solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments
• SAP S/4HANA certification is a strong plus
