Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on SAP PP experience including full lifecycle implementations and support.
• Proven SAP S/4HANA experience mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes (discrete, repetitive, process).
• Strong ability to define/validate functional specs for enhancements and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP PP and related modules (PP-PI, QM).
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Drive global and regional SAP initiatives, rollouts, upgrades, and improvements.
• Develop functional specs (RICEFW) and collaborate with ABAP, Basis, and integrations teams.
• Define and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes (MRP, orders, shop floor, capacity).
• Ensure integration with MES and other external systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior consultants.
• Manage incidents, changes, and project activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current on SAP S/4HANA capabilities and digital manufacturing opportunities.
• Support pre-sales activities and business development.

We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Expert – Production (PP) to lead the design, optimization, and transformation of our SAP Production Planning landscape.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP PP, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and a proven track record delivering end-to-end SAP projects in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP PP and related modules (PP-PI, QM), ensuring seamless integration with MM, SD, and PM
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather complex requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient SAP solutions
• Drive global and regional SAP initiatives, including rollouts, upgrades, and continuous improvement programs
• Develop clear functional specifications (RICEFW) and collaborate closely with ABAP, Basis, and integration teams
• Define and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes, including MRP, production orders, shop floor execution, and capacity planning
• Ensure effective integration with external systems such as MES platforms
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and cross-functional teams
• Manage incidents, changes, and project activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Stay current on SAP S/4HANA capabilities and identify opportunities for digital manufacturing transformation
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to business development efforts

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP, including full lifecycle implementations and support
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including discrete, repetitive, and process manufacturing
• Deep expertise in SAP PP configuration: MRP, BOMs, routings, production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control
• Solid integration experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, QM, and PM
• Experience defining and validating functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments
• Familiarity with MES integration (e.g., SAP ME, SAP MII, or third-party systems)
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an asset
