Job summary

Thorben Consulting, LLC is seeking a senior SAP Architect to lead upgrades, migrations, and architecture across enterprise SAP environments in the DC area. You will plan projects, manage system administration, and deliver technical solutions while advising executives on strategy and governance.

The role requires deep SAP product knowledge, real-world HANA experience, and strong communication to build trusted adviser relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 10 years SAP Basis experience with multiple SAP apps.
• Proven track record in SAP upgrades, migrations and architecture.
• Strong consulting background and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• SAP Upgrades and Migrations.
• Technical Project Planning and SAP System Administration.
• Architect and plan SAP Upgrade and database migrations.
• Deliver SAP upgrades and other technical projects.
• Advises executives on enterprise strategy and governance.
• Lead high-level SAP ERP architecture analysis and design.
• Apply SAP ERP architecture to design, integrate and manage implementations.
• Present status briefings to senior client executives.
• BASIS/HANA administration including installations, patching and tuning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
