Job summary

Thorben Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with CRM expertise to join our technology team supporting a critical transformation program for a U.S. Government agency.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain SAP solutions across ECC, CRM, SRM, and related platforms, delivering scalable ABAP objects and UI5/Fiori interfaces. The role emphasizes performance tuning, code reviews, and collaboration with technical and functional teams to meet mission-critical

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship.
• Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years total experience, 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects.
• CRM solutions experience including customer engagement and catalog management.
• Experience configuring SAP Workflows to optimize business processes.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver ABAP Stack environments and ABAP Objects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document SAP solutions across ECC, CRM, SRM, and related SAP platforms.
• Develop and support SAP RICEFW objects ensuring high-quality, scalable functionality.
• Contribute to full SAP Software Development Life Cycle from design to O&M.
• Ensure stability and performance of SAP applications supporting critical processes.
• Extend SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and modern SAP technologies.
• Configure and enhance SAP Workflows to optimize business processes.
• Develop SAP UI5/Fiori applications with intuitive, responsive UIs.
• Develop reports with ALV, drill-down, and PDF forms.
• Perform code optimization and tuning; adhere to development standards.
