Job summary

A woman-owned technology consulting firm in Northern Virginia/Washington, DC is seeking a senior professional with extensive SAP ERP architecture experience. The role involves directing enterprise architecture analysis, optimizing cloud implementations, and advising executives. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of SAP Basis experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years SAP Basis experience with installation and administration.
Proven background in management consulting and enterprise architecture development.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
10+ years in business process analysis, enterprise architecture or related fields.
Strong IT security, networking and infrastructure knowledge.
Excellent communication and ability to influence senior management.
SAP BASIS/HANA administration including upgrades, tuning and project sizing.

Responsibilities

Directs high-level SAP ERP enterprise architecture analysis and solution development.
Design and optimize customer EPR implementation within Azure.
Present status updates to client’s senior executives.
Participate in development of business processes, strategic, systems and data models.
Aligns architectural vision with business objectives and strategies.
Guides executives on enterprise strategy, governance, and solution implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Directs and participates in high-level SAP ERP enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and solution development
Apply Azure Architecture expertise and SAP ERP Architecture expertise to design, integrate, optimize and manage customer EPR implementation within Azure
Prepares and presents status briefings to the client’s senior executives on approach and courses of action
Participate in development of business process, strategic, systems and data models
Develops a deep understanding of business objectives and strategies and ensures architectural vision is fully aligned with those objectives and strategies
Applies analytical expertise to guide business leaders in optimizing their processes and streamlining their portfolio of information systems
Advises executives on enterprise strategy, governance, solution implementation and compliance
Facilitates work-group across stakeholder organizations to identify and define requirements, assess business processes and solution designs and evaluate technology solutions for customers

Qualifications

Required

Candidate must be a US Citizen
Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
Minimum of 10 years SAP Basis experience with SAP systems installation and administration with three or more of the following SAP applications: ECC, CRM, BI, BW, or GRC
At least 10 years of experience in business process analysis/management, enterprise architecture development, systems portfolio management, enterprise solution implementations, operations analysis, enterprise governance and/or strategic planning and a background in management consulting
Possess deep understanding of IT Security principals, Networking and Infrastructure architecture principles to support clients in achieving clean cloud IT Operational Audits
The ability to communicate politely, clearly and effectively and persuade and/or influence internal customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical issues
Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with minimal guidance
Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
SAP BASIS/HANA administration and technical core competencies for tasks including installations and upgrades, problem determination and resolution, software patching, support package application, performance tuning, and project sizing
Proven track record using analytical skills to evaluate system performance, system health checks, and implementation of tuning improvements

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
