Job summary

Reflections Info Systems in Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior SAP ECC / BW Technical-Functional Lead to be the primary on-site SAP anchor for a complex, business-critical SAP environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a traditional SAP consultant position.

You will quickly understand the existing landscape, troubleshoot cross-module issues, coordinate with offshore SMEs, and drive architectures and cross-system integrations across MM, SD/AFS and FICO.

Qualifications

• Senior SAP ECC, ABAP and BW expertise required.
• Ability to reverse-engineer existing ECC landscape with limited documentation.
• Experience coordinating with offshore SAP team and on-site stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the on-site technical-functional SAP landscape, including architecture, custom developments, integrations and business-critical processes.
• Quickly understand and reverse-engineer the existing ECC environment, particularly where documentation or institutional knowledge is limited.
• Provide senior-level production support / AMS, including incident and problem management, RCA, troubleshooting, enhancements and resolution of business-critical issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across ABAP, interfaces, jobs, RFCs, extractors, batch processes and third-party integrations.
• Provide strong technical leadership across SAP BW, including data flows, extractors, transformations, loads and ECC-BW dependencies.
• Provide hands-on ABAP debugging, development, enhancement and technical troubleshooting.
• Understand and navigate cross-module dependencies, particularly MM, SD/AFS and FICO.
• Work effectively to drive issues through to resolution.

We are looking for an exceptionally strong Senior SAP ECC / BW Technical-Functional Lead / SAP Architect to act as the primary on-site SAP anchor for a complex, business-critical SAP environment.This is a hands-on leadership role, not a traditional SAP Consultant position. The individual should be able to quickly understand the existing SAP landscape, operate independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and effectively coordinate with the offshore SAP team, and other technology stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP ECC, ABAP and BW, with the ability to navigate the broader SAP landscape and leverage offshore SMEs across MM, SD/AFS, FICO, Security and other specialist areas.

• Create system/process flows, integration maps, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.
• Capture critical technical and functional knowledge.
• Conduct structured KT sessions with the offshore SAP team.
• Identify and close knowledge gaps to establish a sustainable long-term support model.

Secondary Skills :

• SAP AFS / Apparel & Footwear experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in Apparel, Fashion, Retail or Consumer Products environments.
• Strong production support / AMS background in complex SAP landscapes.
• Experience with multiple external systems and complex integrations.
• Strong understanding of MM , SD/AFS and FICO environments.
• Experience working with distributed/onshore-offshore SAP teams.
