Job summary

Pyxus International, Inc. seeks a Solution Architect to lead SAP ECC 6.0 SD with integration to MM, FI, and CO in a global deployment. This senior role requires deep business process understanding and hands-on configuration expertise across SD and related modules.

You will work within Information Services, guiding design, testing, and implementation while supporting go-live and production activities across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a computer or business related field.
• At least 10 years of SAP experience with hands-on configuration in Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, Inventory Management and Billing.
• Experience with SAP Materials Management configuration/support and S4 HANA is preferred.
• Must be capable of leading design sessions and documenting functional designs.

The Solution Architect will be part of a Global SAP Project working with all business units. The candidate must have an understanding of the business processes related to SAP ECC 6.0 –Sales & Distribution. The individual will offer their knowledge and expertise regarding the SAP system to the team to ensure best business practices are defined in meeting the business requirements. This position will be member of the Information Services Department and will assist the team with analysis, design, evaluation, configuration, testing, and implementation of the system primarily in the SD functional area, with integration of MM, FI, and CO functional areas. This individual will serve as an implementation member throughout the global implementation of the system.

Responsibilities

Job Content and Duties

• Participate in and conduct Business Design sessions ensuring global business needs are incorporated into sessions
• Process re-engineering exercises to conform to business best practices
• Prepare business design documentation ofprocesses, workflows and procedures
• Resolve business issues resulting from designs session
• Prepare functional specifications for development objects
• Prepare software configuration recommendations/requirements for assigned business processes
• Ensure multi-country requirements are properly defined to support localization and statutory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with Senior Manager SAP Finance and Project Management to ensure configuration is designed to meet the requirements and scope of the project
• Gain understanding of environment infrastructure and opportunities to ensure designs and deliverables are within economical reach
• Participate in system integrated testing to ensure software requirements have been met
• Data cleansing and validation efforts for data migrations
• Assist with preparation of user training materials
• Ensure that Company standards and methodologies are adhered to
• Provide end-user support during go-live
• Assist with Production Support issues and provide secondary support as needed
• Provide end user support for assigned applications
• Timely status reporting to IS management

Qualifications

• Experience with process mapping and business process requirements gathering
• A proven consulting/functional professional, with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations
