Job summary

ElevationHR, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior SAP EAM Functional Consultant for a 12-month contract engagement in Downtown Houston. The role focuses on SAP EAM, PM, SM, and PS to support asset maintenance processes and enterprise integration.

The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end implementations, configure systems, and drive go-live activities, while collaborating with SAP architects, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams. Onsite Monday-Thursday with Friday remote.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on SAP EAM experience with configuration and support.
• Strong experience in SAP PM, SM, and PS.
• Two full-cycle SAP implementations (greenfield and/or brownfield).
• Experience migrating acquisitions onto existing platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with CRM, MM, FI, and third-party apps.
• Excellent business analysis and stakeholder communication.

Pay Rate: $92-$95 per hour

Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 - October 25, 2027 (approximately 12 months)

About the Opportunity

ElevationHR is seeking an experienced Senior SAP EAM Functional Consultant for a 12-month contract engagement supporting an established enterprise organization in Downtown Houston.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on SAP functional professional with deep expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Service Management (SM), and Project System (PS). The consultant will support enterprise asset management solution design, functional configuration, SAP implementations, and ongoing system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end SAP EAM implementations, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Configure and optimize SAP EAM, PM, SM, and PS functionality to support enterprise asset maintenance processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, assess current-state processes, and develop future-state SAP solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system configurations, and implementation deliverables.
• Collaborate with SAP architects, business leaders, vendors, and technical teams on enterprise systems integration.
• Evaluate integration requirements involving SAP CRM, Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), and third-party applications.
• Provide functional troubleshooting, end-user training, and guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on enterprise asset management experience, including SAP EAM functional configuration, customization, implementation, and support.
• Strong functional experience across SAP PM, SAP SM, and SAP PS.
• At least two full-cycle SAP implementations, including greenfield and/or brownfield projects.
• Experience migrating acquisitions or mergers onto existing enterprise platforms.
• Expertise in fit-gap analysis, business process design, testing, cutover, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with CRM, MM, FI, and third-party enterprise applications.
• Strong business analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, and independent problem-solving capabilities.

Contract & Eligibility Requirements

• Work Authorization: Per the client's stated engagement requirements, only U.S. citizens and U.S. lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) will be considered. No current or future employer sponsorship is available.
• Contracting Structure: This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement through ElevationHR. Third-party Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements are not accepted. Candidates operating through an LLC they directly own may be considered, subject to approval.
• Onsite Requirements: Must work onsite in Downtown Houston Monday-Thursday; Friday is remote.
• Location Preference: Houston-area candidates preferred. Relocation assistance is not available.
