Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a senior SAP software leader to guide the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for federal agencies. You will mentor a team of developers, review technical designs, and drive agile and DevOps practices to ensure reliable, scalable systems.

The role requires 15+ years in SAP, active clearance or clearable, and the ability to travel to customer sites. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual status).
• Possess active secret security clearance or candidate must be clearable.
• 15+ years' experience in SAP application development and demonstrated progressive experience from work as a developer to a leadership position.
• 7+ years direct (hands-on) experience within SAP projects (modules include EWM, FI, TM, MM, etc.).
• Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle development implementations.
• 3+ years Agile development process.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish development standards, best practices of Software Development Life Cycle and ensure adherence through code reviews.
• Review and provide guidance on technical designs and recommend improvements for performance and sustainability.
• Oversee the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solution.
• Provide technical directions to a team of SAP developers, including mentoring, and evaluating performance.
• Oversee development work according to specifications and project plans, ensuring adherence to requirements, implementation, testing, and integration.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of software solutions.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect(s) to develop scalable technical architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement, agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
