Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an SAP Cutover Lead to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA deployment for a DoD client. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee the transition from legacy systems to a greenfield production environment, developing and executing a comprehensive cutover strategy and ensuring a smooth go-live.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP deployment lifecycles.
• Understanding of SAP BASIS concepts (transports, client copies, system connectivity) and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and SAP application lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to build and execute integrated cutover plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser to DoD clients, translating highly technical concepts into clear business impacts.
• Help clients navigate decision-making in ambiguous, fast-changing deployment environments.
• Collaborate with functional, development, data migration, and infrastructure teams to define the overall deployment and cutover strategy.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to map end-to-end dependencies and build the master runbook.
• Pivot quickly to adapt the cutover schedule and strategy based on client-driven priorities, regulatory shifts, or leadership decisions.
• Oversee cutover simulations (Dry Runs), managing stakeholder communication and alignment throughout.
• Develop and refine key project documentation that will inform deployment execution across a complex delivery ecosystem.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and command center operations during go-live, coordinating across teams to resolve blockers.
