Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the standup, supervision, and daily operations of a dedicated 2-FTE team supporting a SAP/CAP IT footprint. You will drive fault/performance monitoring, incident remediation, RCA, and architecture integration across UNIX/Windows environments.

Primary responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with customers and vendors, and ensuring high availability during training exercises and live missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 8+ years in relevant field
• IAT Level I per DoD 8140/8570
• Security+ CE within 6 months
• TS/SCI clearance required
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor operations staff supporting a SAP/CAP IT environment, establishing SOPs and escalation workflows
• Represent the team in customer, contract, and vendor meetings
• Monitor system health and performance to ensure high availability during exercises and missions
• Lead rapid incident triage, document outages and root-cause analyses
• Maintain and optimize network/infrastructure across UNIX and Windows environments
• Coordinate integrations between monitoring tools, ticketing, and alerting pipelines
• Provide technical analysis to adapt architecture for EM integration and performance
• Maintain asset baselines and collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams
