Job summary

Chenega Security SBU is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the enterprise IT operations that support Federal Government and Department of Defense missions. You will drive service delivery, governance, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure secure, compliant, and highly available IT environments.

Responsibilities include overseeing ITSM initiatives, managing infrastructure and networks, guiding cybersecurity and information assurance efforts, and aligning operations with RMF

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum ten years in IT Operations using ITSM practices in Federal Government environments.
• Minimum ten years in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government/DoD.
• Experience leading technical operations teams in enterprise-scale environments.
• Current DoD 8570.01‑M IAM Level II certification required.
• Active TS clearance and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and strategic direction of enterprise IT operations and service delivery.
• Oversee ITSM implementation and governance to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage performance across infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity, and customer support.
• Set operational objectives, priorities, and metrics aligned with customer goals.
• Direct teams maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant IT environments.
• Monitor SLAs, incidents, changes, problems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement organizational policies and governance processes.
• Coordinate resources across functions to support mission requirements.
• Ensure DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF standards, and IA policies are met.
• Analyze operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
