Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead end-to-end ABAP delivery and drive SAP-based solutions across clients. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable ABAP-based architectures, guide teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 4–6 years of ABAP experience, familiarity with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, Fiori/UI5, and strong client-facing communication skills, with 40–60% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required.
• Typically 4–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong ABAP expertise including OOABAP, modularization, debugging.
• Experience designing ABAP reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and OData/Web Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration across modules; ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Proficient in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP services.
• Solid understanding of SAP Data Dictionary, data modeling, performance tuning.
• Experience in Agile delivery and SAP DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with SAP tools like Solution Manager, PI/PO, Data Services; strong client communication.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of SAP ABAP solutions across full project lifecycles (design, build, test, deploy).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions; balance client needs and timelines.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members; drive quality and risk management.
• Engage with external clients, run working sessions, and lead workstreams from planning to closure.
