Job summary

Virtual Tech Gurus is seeking a storage-focused engineer to lead a large-scale SAN refresh across multiple data centers in the Kansas City area. The role emphasizes Dell PowerMax, HPE 3PAR, NetApp, and Brocade Fibre Channel environments, with a focus on provisioning, zoning, and fabric connectivity.

You will configure and maintain enterprise storage, troubleshoot complex issues, document runbooks, and collaborate with infrastructure teams onsite and remotely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SAN/Storage Engineering experience
• Experience with enterprise storage environments
• Experience with Dell PowerMax, HPE 3PAR, or similar
• Strong Brocade FC switching experience
• Experience with FC zoning, fabric management, and ISLs
• Knowledge of LUN masking, host groups, and multipathing
• Experience with MPIO or PowerPath
• Ability to work onsite in the Kansas City metro area

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise SAN and storage environments
• Configure and manage Dell PowerMax and HPE 3PAR
• Perform LUN provisioning, host mapping, masking, and multipathing
• Manage Brocade Fibre Channel switches, including zoning and fabric connectivity
• Troubleshoot storage, SAN, and connectivity issues
• Validate storage connectivity after deployments and changes
• Monitor storage and SAN health
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks
• Work with infrastructure teams on data center projects
• Provide onsite and remote support
