Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Multistate consulting and compliance services, including technical review of state and local tax returns.
• Residency issues.
• Sales tax consulting, including nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense.
• Research and writing.
• Due diligence.
• Coordinating with in-house tax professionals and clients.
• Reviewing pass-through entity issues including estimated payments and state K-1s.
