EisnerAmper, a leading accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Manager for its State and Local Tax (SALT) practice in Illinois. The role focuses on multistate consulting, compliance, residency issues, and intricate state tax planning for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with in-house tax professionals and client teams to deliver impactful tax strategies, research, and filings while supporting the firm’s commitment to work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA certification

Responsabilités

• Multistate consulting and compliance services, including complex state tax issues.
• Technical review of state and local tax returns and related filings.
• Residency issues and nexus determinations.
• Sales tax consulting, nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense and controversy management.
• Research and writing on state tax matters.
• Due diligence and project coordination with clients and in-house tax professionals.
• Reviewing pass-through entity issues including estimated payments and K-1s.
• Researching state tax legislation and its impact to clients.
• Assisting with tax planning, restructuring, and accounting for income taxes.
