Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Manager to join its State and Local Tax practice. You will lead multistate consulting, review state and local tax returns, and advise on nexus, residency, and pass-through tax issues.

You will collaborate with clients and in-house professionals on tax planning, research, and accounting for income taxes, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA certification is required.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform multistate consulting and compliance services.
• Technical review of state and local tax returns including allocation and nexus.
• Address residency issues and sales tax consulting.
• Conduct research and write tax analyses; participate in due diligence.
• Coordinate with in-house tax professionals and clients.
• Review pass-through entity issues including estimated payments and K-1s.
• Analyze state tax legislation and its impact on clients.
• Engage in tax planning, restructuring, and accounting for income taxes.
