Job summary

The role requires hands-on Salesforce Lightning, Data Loader, and AppExchange experience, plus strong requirements gathering and technical documentation skills. Moderate travel and a focus on best-practice delivery are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and Salesforce certifications (Admin 201) preferred.
• 2+ years of management or technology consulting experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and Data Loader and/or DemandTools.
• Experience building databases and custom applications on Salesforce platform.
• Fluent Excel and Google Sheets; strong Office suite skills.
• Willingness to travel ~5%.

Responsibilities

• Build architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform
• Build declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) in Salesforce Lightning
• Create on-record analytics (roll up fields, formula fields, reports) in Salesforce
• Configure Salesforce objects, custom settings and account model
• Install and configure AppExchange apps and proprietary applications
• Facilitate business process workshops and requirements gathering with stakeholders
• Define data model and system architecture from business requirements
• Create technical documentation mapping data flows and designs
• Produce written recommendations with multiple solution designs for client review
• Design mockups of custom pages and prototype solutions
• Prototype, iterate, and incorporate feedback for delivery cycles
• Facilitate discovery calls and translate processes into Salesforce solutions
• Lead technical discovery sessions and gap analyses for opportunities
• Deliver product demos and proofs-of-concept aligned to use cases
• Contribute to proposals and statements of work with scope and estimates
• Act as technical SME during sales cycle on architecture and data questions
• Estimate implementation effort and delivery risks for pricing and timelines
• Handoff scope, requirements, and design decisions from sales to delivery
