I am currently representing a major financial services leader in Boston who is looking for a Senior Salesforce Solutions Architect to join their digital transformation team. This is a high impact role focused on building out sophisticated platforms within the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud ecosystem specifically for the insurance sector.

The successful candidate will lead the architectural strategy for complex systems involving policy management, claims handling, and underwriting. You will be responsible for creating scalable, loosely coupled designs that integrate seamlessly with core financial systems and legacy platforms. This position involves setting the technical direction for development teams while ensuring all solutions meet rigorous regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities include designing end to end system architectures and managing data models for specific objects like financial accounts and relationships. You will oversee technical delivery including Apex and Lightning Web Components best practices, while driving the adoption of modern tools like Data Cloud, OmniStudio, and Einstein AI. A significant portion of the role involves collaborating with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to turn complex insurance requirements into functional technical roadmaps.

Core Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
• Proven track record of implementing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Deep domain knowledge in insurance workflows such as underwriting and claims.
• Technical mastery of LWC, Apex, REST and SOAP APIs, and Event Driven Architecture.
• Hands on experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data integration tools including ETL and event streaming.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Active Salesforce certifications such as Application or System Architect.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Service Cloud Voice.
• Familiarity with Mulesoft and middleware integration strategies.
• Knowledge of insurance specific compliance such as FINRA, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Expertise in OmniStudio and Marketing Cloud.
