Job summary

Catalyst Consulting Group, a Government Technology Services Vendor in Chicago, seeks a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect to own Salesforce design and delivery aligned with client needs. You’ll map requirements to technical specs, mentor analysts and developers, and drive solutions across Sales, Service, and platform layers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience leading Salesforce implementation projects.
• 3+ years experience working for a consulting company.
• 3+ Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin and Service Cloud at minimum).
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interactive across audiences.
• A pro-active, entrepreneurial attitude.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to observe trends and suggest actions.
• Available and responsive to questions with clear visual and written concepts.
• A strategic approach to solution design with tactical plan execution.
• Excellent ability to coach and direct a multi-disciplinary Salesforce team.
• Technical Architect certification a plus.
• Public sector experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research clients’ Salesforce usage and produce findings with a roadmap.
• Collaborate to create prototypes and proofs of concept to elicit requirements.
• Review solutions and recommend improvements.
• Own the design of Salesforce and related platform solutions for Sales/Service.
• Act as release manager for deployments across environments.
• Provide guidance on user story writing and acceptance criteria.
• Describe designs with justifications and ensure testing steps are documented.
• Supervise configuration, QA, testing and deployment of Salesforce.
• Lead collaborative project and workstream planning.
• Engage with client stakeholders up to C-suite level; occasional travel for workshops.
