Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Solution Architect (B2B Commerce) to own the overall technical design and advise on best-practice solutions for Salesforce and other SaaS apps. You’ll lead discovery sessions, translate findings into technical requirements, and partner with Coastal and client teams to drive success.

The role emphasizes directing solution design, collaboration across delivery leadership, and maintaining Salesforce certifications, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and growth.

Qualifications

• Active Salesforce Administrator and Sales/Service Cloud certifications required (minimum 4x).
• 4–6 years of advanced Salesforce Platform experience including project scoping.
• 2+ years as Senior Consultant or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and B2B Commerce Cloud with SLDC/Agile experience.
• Experience designing solutions using Salesforce and partner apps (Conga, DocuSign, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design a solution leveraging Salesforce product features and custom components.
• Deliver architecture diagrams and high-level data/integration designs.
• Own overall solution design, estimate build effort, and oversee reporting/UAT.
• Demonstrate balance of declarative vs programmatic development approaches.
• Act as Salesforce SME on B2B Commerce Cloud with Delivery leadership.
