Job summary

Astound Digital is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect to lead scalable enterprise SFCC implementations and guide clients through digital transformation. You will translate complex business needs into high-performance technical designs, mentor delivery teams, and own end-to-end delivery from discovery to post-launch support.

The role requires deep SFCC expertise, experience with headless and PWA storefronts, and a proactive advisory mindset in a global, remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in e-commerce architecture.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and PWA kit implementations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities in a global setting.
• Experience with headless/composable commerce architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture advisory engagements.
• Perform pre-sales solutioning and provide detailed estimates.
• Define AI-enabled commerce use cases and capabilities.
• Translate business goals into technical designs and tasks.
• Architect end-to-end Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions and documentation.
• Mentor developers and ensure best practices across SFCC.
• Own delivery lifecycle from design to post-launch support.
• Address performance bottlenecks and secure shopping experiences.
• Design integrations with third-party systems using SFCC APIs.
